I was in conversation with a close friend when my car broke down and we had to call the emergency services to jump start my car and while we waited for the man to come and we spoke about how some people do their jobs or anything at hand with such dedication and some do it just for the heck of doing something.
There were three aspects to the reality that people face in terms of work or profession –
They like what the do
They do to earn their living even if it means they do not enjoy something ( more often than not they are forced into this profession)
They have never bothered to find out what gives them pleasure of working.
The truth is, there is always a ‘way out’ of situations that leave us miserable if we’re willing to find it and do something about it to make it work .
The point is do we really do anything about it ? Either we complain and continue or we do not even bother what is it that might make us happy ! And the reason is we are too lazy and fear unknown territory.
What if we find out something that we cant not face
What if I realise I love doing something that might be going against your social stature?
There are 2 ways that can be used to make you happy :
You stop what you are doing and step back , analyse the pros and cons of your desires and what you really have passion for and DO IT. Whatever it takes
Accept that somethings ( for now) can not be changed. You might need to do what you do even if you are completely happy with it ( of course for valid reasons). Once the acceptance comes in you will flow in the stream of doing things with dedication you have established a fact that this is what it is for now.
Acceptance brings peace, but that does not mean you need to be in the same frame for the rest of your life.
Once we do our respective work with full dedication it the next step always becomes clearer, as if we are facing blockage it’s a learning curve, and you can not move on without crossing the turning point.
Awareness will always be a key!
And your open mindedness will give you a broader perspective
